Artist statement.

I work in drawing and painting, focusing on the relationship between lines, surfaces, layers, and transparency in relation to the chosen subject. In my drawing and watercolor series, I engage with the ever-present visual motifs of art history, history, or family history. Similar to a laboratory, I examine old images on a light table. This experimental process leads to the creation of my own image archive.
